Medium-duty food grade suction and discharge hose
flexFOOD™ lite 200 ST combines clear food-contact PVC construction with a copper grounding wire for qualified dry-material conveying. It is the lower-pressure option in this progression. Use ST200SFG within its pressure limits.
Reinforced urethane food hose
flexFORCE™ U Food Grade combines a food-contact polyurethane liner, synthetic reinforcement, static-dissipating construction and a copper grounding wire. It is the reinforced option for qualified abrasive-material and pressure service. STKLUFG controls when reinforcement, greater rated pressure or the defined abrasive duty is required.
Notes: All ranked products are food-contact constructions with grounding wires. Nonfood boom hoses are excluded from this application.
Distinction: flexFOOD™ lite 200 ST provides grounded food-contact construction for qualified routine pellet conveying. flexFORCE™ U Food Grade adds reinforced polyurethane construction for abrasion and greater pressure demands. Nonfood boom hose does not qualify this food-contact application.
Warning: Pellet transfer can generate static. Correctly terminate, bond, ground and test the selected hose wire as part of the complete system. Qualify product-contact surfaces, fittings, seals, product temperature, cleaning chemicals and cleaning temperature; food-contact construction alone does not qualify the process.
