High temperature abrasion resistant suction hose
flexVAC™ 180 HR is the elevated-temperature EPDM material-handling option. Its published temperature range extends to 220°F, and its grounding wire must be connected as part of the complete system.
Heavy-duty abrasion resistant suction and discharge hose
Use for: Cooled sand recovery without a hose-grounding-wire requirement.
flexVAC™ 180 AR is the heavy-duty abrasion-resistant SBR material-handling option. It provides strong suction capability in a broad size range, but it does not contain a hose-grounding wire.
Medium-duty wet & dry material remote hose with grounding wire
Use for: Cooled sand recovery with a grounded polyurethane-lined hose.
flexVAC™ lite U Boom ST provides a polyurethane liner, static-dissipating construction and a copper grounding wire for abrasive recovery. It is the lighter boom-hose option and is not food grade.
Heavy-duty abrasion resistant wet and dry material handling hose
Use for: Demanding cooled-sand recovery.
flexVAC™ U Boom ST is the heavy polyurethane-lined boom hose for demanding wet and dry abrasive recovery. Its static-dissipating construction and copper grounding wire support the defined severe-duty role. It is not food grade.
Notes: The main selection covers hot foundry sand within the 180HR temperature rating. Cooled-sand recovery options appear under Alternative.
Warning: Verify actual sand temperature, including startup conditions and hot spots, against the selected hose’s rating. Correctly connect, bond, ground and test the wire-equipped assembly where required. Static-dissipating material alone does not establish a grounding-wire connection.
Exception: Use the listed cooled-sand alternatives only after confirming that material temperature falls within the selected hose’s rating. Choose a wire-equipped alternative when the recovery system requires a hose-grounding wire; flexVAC™ 180 AR does not provide one. A larger available diameter does not override temperature or grounding requirements.
