Lightweight abrasion resistant blower and suction hose
flexVAC™ lite 180 AR is the lighter abrasion-resistant SBR option for suction and light blowing of fibrous or lightweight abrasive material. Its static-dissipating rubber does not include a grounding wire.
Medium-duty wet & dry material remote hose with grounding wire
flexVAC™ lite U Boom ST provides a polyurethane liner, static-dissipating construction and a copper grounding wire for abrasive recovery. It is the lighter boom-hose option and is not food grade.
Heavy-duty abrasion resistant suction and discharge hose
At 8 inches, 180AR is rated to 27 inHg versus 12 inHg for 545U. flexVAC™ 180 AR is the heavy-duty abrasion-resistant SBR material-handling option. It provides strong suction capability in a broad size range, but it does not contain a hose-grounding wire.
Notes: Use the material-handling family for truck debris recovery.
Distinction: flexVAC™ lite 180 AR favors lower weight and handling. flexVAC™ lite U Boom ST adds polyurethane abrasion resistance and a grounding wire. flexVAC™ 180 AR is the general heavy-duty debris-recovery choice where its diameter and operating ratings fit and a hose-grounding wire is not required.
Warning: flexVAC™ 180 AR and flexVAC™ lite 180 AR are static dissipating but have no grounding wire. Correctly terminate and test the wire in flexVAC™ lite U Boom ST where selected. Identify debris, contaminants and temperature, and confirm the selected diameter’s pressure, vacuum and bend-radius limits.
