flexCHEM™ 300 is the EPDM chemical, water and liquid-waste option. Its suitability depends on the exact fluid; the EPDM designation does not establish universal chemical or petroleum compatibility.
Heavy-duty abrasion resistant suction and discharge hose
flexVAC™ 180 AR is the heavy-duty abrasion-resistant SBR material-handling option. It provides strong suction capability in a broad size range, but it does not contain a hose-grounding wire.
Heavy-duty high pressure suction and discharge hose
flexVAC™ Max is the reinforced abrasive-slurry specialist. Its published 4-inch working-pressure rating is 140 psi, so a 20 psi boom hose does not replace it in this pressure duty.
Use for: Dredge suction within reinforced water-hose ratings.
flexFORCE™ SR is the reinforced water and fish suction-and-discharge option. Its construction provides a pressure-capable alternative to general PVC water hose.
Medium-duty wet & dry material remote hose with grounding wire
Use for: Abrasive dredge suction.
flexVAC™ lite U Boom ST provides a polyurethane liner, static-dissipating construction and a copper grounding wire for abrasive recovery. It is the lighter boom-hose option and is not food grade.
Heavy-duty abrasion resistant wet and dry material handling hose
Use for: Demanding abrasive dredge suction.
flexVAC™ U Boom ST is the heavy polyurethane-lined boom hose for demanding wet and dry abrasive recovery. Its static-dissipating construction and copper grounding wire support the defined severe-duty role. It is not food grade.
Notes: The primary progression covers compatible abrasive slurry discharge within each product’s pressure rating. Dredge suction is addressed separately.
Distinction: flexCHEM™ 300 covers compatible liquid-dominant mixtures; flexVAC™ 180 AR addresses abrasive sand discharge within its ratings; flexVAC™ Max addresses greater slurry-pressure demands. The listed dredge-suction alternatives apply to suction duty and do not inherit the pressure-discharge selection.
Limitation: flexVAC™ Max has a narrower standard diameter range than flexVAC™ 180 AR. When its size is unavailable, use another hose only if that diameter’s working-pressure rating meets the actual discharge duty. Vacuum capability alone is insufficient.
Warning: Verify liquid chemistry, particle size, solids concentration, velocity, temperature, diameter and maximum pressure or vacuum. Confirm routing and bend radius for the complete assembly. A dredging application name or suction rating does not establish discharge-pressure suitability.
